The King and I

Anna Loenowens, a widowed mother from Wales, moves to Siam and accepts a position as a governess and English tutor for the many children and wives of the obstinate King Mongkut. During the time that Anna is attempting to instruct the royal family in the English language, customs, and etiquette, and during the time that she is frantically preparing a party for a group of European diplomats who need to change their opinions about the King, the King and Anna's personalities come into conflict with one another.
