In December 2004, close-knit family Maria, Henry, and their three sons start their winter vacation in Thailand. But the day after Christmas, the perfect holiday turns into an unimaginable nightmare when a terrifying roar comes from the depths of the sea, followed by a wall of black water that eats everything in its path. Even though Maria and her family are going through their worst time, unexpected acts of kindness and bravery help to ease their fear.
