With its impressive trip sequences as well as high-powered actors, The Seekers is a thrilling film based on the very popular story by veteran competitor pilot James Salter. Set during the elevation of the Oriental Battle, the tale centers on Significant Cleve Saville (Robert Mitchum), a master of the freshly functional F-86 Sabre competitor jets. Yet skilled as he is at flying, Saville ¹ s individual life takes a nose-dive when he loves his wingman ¹ s (Lee Philips) stunning wife (May Britt). To make matters worse, Saville has to manage a loud-mouthed novice (Robert Wagner) in a bold rescue mission that threatens all their lives in this well-crafted battle drama.
