The Hunchback of Notre Dame

1482 in Paris. Frollo, the Chief Justice of King Louis XI, is smitten by the beauty of Esmeralda, a young gypsy girl. The hunchback Quasimodo, Frollo's protege and bell-ringer of Notre Dame, lives in peace amid the bells in the heights of the vast cathedral until he is drawn into the warped magistrate's diabolical intentions to free himself from Esmeralda's claimed spell, which he believes is the work of the devil.
