Despite the fact that they have only been married for less than a year, an established actor and his similarly established actress wife are already experiencing signs of pressure in their relationship. It is the actor's belief that his wife is capable of infidelity that prompts him to set out to prove it. A Russian military commander, for example, is the type of man that the actor believes his wife would like, so he approaches her while she believes him (her husband, that is) to be out of town. Despite the fact that the actress appears to be falling to the "Russian's" approaches, her husband is unable to put a definitive stamp of approval on her actions and behavior. Is it inevitable that the truth will be revealed...or is it really inevitable?
