As a twenty-six-year-old, Scott is living on the streets and trying to get back into society while on probation for some small crimes. A working single mother is his ex-girlfriend, and he wants to win her back. He has to figure out how to get along with his two-bit criminal boss and an enigmatic detective at the same time. Scott didn't have a mother or father growing up, so he learned about what it means to be a father.
