The Golem: How He Came into the World

Experiencing under the tyrannical rule of Rudolf II in 16th-century Prague, a Talmudic rabbi creates a huge warrior to protect the safety of his individuals. Sculpted of clay and animated by the mystical keys of the Cabala, the Golem was a seemingly undestroyable juggernaut, doing acts of fantastic heroism, yet similarly with the ability of distressing physical violence. When the rabbi's aide takes control of the Golem and attempts to use him for self-indulgent gain, the lumbering beast runs widespread, kidnaping the rabbi's child as well as setting fire to the ghetto.
