The Golden Voices

Terrell Christian College (TCC) will host the "Golden Voices Competition" this year, but there is one problem: TCC does not have a choir. Georgia Mae Jackson (Irma P. Hall), the music department's head, has been challenged by Assistant Dean Vickie Wilson (Tonea Stewart) to put together a choir in one month or lose her job. Georgia's back gives out, so she convinces her granddaughter, Sidney Nicole Taylor (Nikki Dixon), to take over the choir. Sidney upends the college by hiring Jax Rebel (Mario Mims), a fallen, bad boy R&B singer, to assist her with the choir. Dean Wilson learns of Jax's troubled past and threatens to fire Georgia if they do not win the competition. Will Georgia's job be saved by Jax, Sidney, and Sidney?
