King Midas is visited by a fairy; the elf turns his cat to gold, then slaps his hands and it alters back. Midas pleads for the golden touch, however the elf alerts him it would be a curse to him. Midas firmly insists. He dancings about happily in the beginning, but discovers the drawbacks when he sits down to dinner. Fearing death by malnourishment, he summons the fairy and accepts give up everything he owns to have menstruation lifted.
