The Golden Holiday

Byung-su, a mellow and unhurried rural detective, celebrates his tenth wedding anniversary by traveling with his family to the Philippines. In point of fact, his covert mission is to find his old friend Yong-bae, the one who conned him and ran off with the money a few years ago, and bring him to justice. In Manila, Byung-su visits Yong-bae in prison, where he is serving a sentence for murder, and learns of the investigation into 'Yamashita's Gold.' Byung-su unexpectedly becomes involved in the case after being swayed by the prospect of receiving a portion of the gold that Yong-bae promises.
