The Glass Shield
First black officer: J.J. is a rookie in the Sheriff's Department and the first one to work at this place. In the department, some of J.J.'s fellow officers don't like that he is there. It's the only person he has a real friendship with. The other new trooper, the first female officer to work there, also has to deal with discrimination in an all-white workplace. Police corruption comes to light during the trial of Teddy Woods, the man J.J. arrested. He has to make hard choices and risk his own life in the service of justice, but he does it for what is right.
