Fung, also known as "King of the Gigolos," is now a'retired' businessman who owns and operates a nightclub in Hong Kong's Lan Kwai Fong entertainment district. A rare new customer, Monica, is brought on board by him to help pay for her mother's medical bills. Monica is a hesitant prostitute who has turned to prostitution to make ends meet. Fung's charms are irresistible to Monica, who has been recommended to him for carnal guidance after one of his customers refers to her as a "dead fish."
