The Front Line
In1951, a cease-fire is declared, but two surviving armies engage in their final combat on the front line. Toward the end of the Korean War, a South Korean battalion is engaged in a violent battle with the North over a hill on the front line border, attempting to conquer a strategic position that would establish the two nations' future border. Each day, ownership of this small plot of property would change. Kang is assigned to the front line to investigate a covert case that has been occurring there. However, when he encounters his friend Kim, who has evolved into a war machine, and his unit, he spirals into a conflict that is more horrific than death. As the countdown to the ceasefire approaches, both sides become more vicious, resulting in the death of countless people until the land is claimed by the last man.
