Dave, a senior in high school, spends the majority of his time longing for a lady he can't have. Aubrey, a junior with artistic ambitions, has a handsome boyfriend who neither understands nor appears to care about her. Dave and Aubrey end themselves at the same party despite the fact that they attend different schools. They cross paths when both go outside for a breath of fresh air. A simple encounter sparks an instant connection, and over the course of a weekend, Aubrey and Dave experience what it's like to fall in love for the first time.
