As soon as Penny gets in his taxi, Harris, the world-worn driver, finds himself in the only kind of courtship he can have with a passenger - one that lasts as long as her trip is. That is, until she disappears from the back seat of the car without a single trace in sight. It's when the confusion fades and the reality sets in that he resets his meter and goes back to the moment when she got in his taxi.
