Peruvian horror film THE RING is an excellent example of the South American new wave of horror that is always on fire. Videotaping people's reactions to shocking videos posted online to see how it affects their mental health is the focus of a documentary project undertaken by a group of media students. So horrifying was one case, viewers have all mysteriously died as a result. On the other hand, what can we deduce from this harrowing Internet footage? When their quest takes them to the Dark Web, a shadowy part of the internet, a Quechua curse from the time of the Spanish Inquisition, and an evil force they can't resist, they realize they're trapped.
