The Dreamlife of Angels
Two young ladies in Lille who are both homeless and have limited prospects become friends. After a vehicle crash, Marie flat-sits for a mother and child in comas. Isa moves in. Isa is friendly, unskilled, and eager to go to a warmer climate in the south. Typically, Marie is either irate or cold. While Isa reads to the infant in their flat in the hospital, Marie falls for an affluent adolescent. Marie first avoids him, then follows him and dreams he is her life's love. Isa and Marie's friendship breaks out when she tries to warn her. How will Marie manage what is bound to happen? Where will they go if they lose their apartment?
