Dave Kroupa is astonished when his new girlfriend, Cari Farver, begins sending him insistent text messages. When Dave terminates his relationship with Cari, he receives an onslaught of bizarre messages from Cari, who has suddenly vanished. Liz, the ex-girlfriend of Dave, also receives threatening texts from Cari, creating a perilous situation for both of them.
