"Having broken free from my false ego, I was frantically seeking a route and a sense of purpose in life," says the author. This sentence nicely sums up Alejandro Jodorowsky's biographical project: re-creating the wonderful trip that has been his life's journey. He was born in 1929 in Tocopilla, a coastal village on the edge of the Chilean desert, where this film was shot. Alejandro Jodorowsky is the director of this picture. It was there that he found the fundamentals of reality, having experienced a difficult and isolated upbringing as a member of a dislocated family.
