The Current
Jake enjoys living in Chicago, but when the city's violence becomes too close to home, his parents purchase a campsite in rural Minnesota and relocate the family. Jake despises camping until he meets Peter, the lad from across the river. They become fast friends and spend a memorable summer on the river together. Peter shares his Christian faith with Jake during one of their chats. Jake puts his newfound faith to work for a friend who is going through a difficult time.
