The Concert

Andre Filipov, the world-famous conductor of the Bolshoi orchestra, had his career ended by Leonid Brezhnev for selecting Jewish players, and now cleans the concert hall that he previously conducted. His curiosity leads him to the famed Théâtre du Châtelet. He reassembles his old orchestra, now full of alcoholic players, and flies to Paris to finish the Tchaikovsky concerto he began 30 years before. He enlists a young violin soloist with whom he forms an unexpected bond.
