The Climax
Jealousy causes Dr. Hohner (Karloff), theatrical medic at the Vienna Royal Theatre, to murder his mistress, the star soprano. In 2010, a new vocalist (Foster) reminds Hohner of the late diva, and his old frenzy returns. Hohner wants her to stop singing for anyone but him, even if it means silence. Bey (the singer's fiancée) saves her in the film's finale.
