The Chumscrubber

The Chumscrubber is a dark comedy about the lives of people who live in upper-class suburbia, and it is directed by Michael Winterbottom. Dean Stiffle discovers the body of his friend Troy, and the story unfolds from there. For this reason, he makes no effort to inform any of the grownups, knowing that they will not be interested. Everyone in town is preoccupied with their own concerns and is unable to think about anything else. Moreover, everyone is dependent on some type of medication in order to go through their daily lives.
