The Cat and the Canary

The will of millionaire Cyrus Norman, who died ten years ago today, will be read out to his six relatives, including Joyce Norman and Wally Campbell. A gathering of the six is arranged by Norman's lawyer, Crosby, and takes place at Norman's creepy New Orleans Gothic home. Someone will be dead by midnight according to a superstitious housekeeper, who states this during the reading. When Joyce is proclaimed the sole inheritor, Wally is concerned for her well-being; nevertheless, everyone is disturbed when Crosby is discovered dead.
