Laura, a single woman, meets John, a pleasant guy, through an online dating site. After a few dates, he invites her to his mountain retreat. Laura disregards her friend Ashley's cautions that it is too soon to go away with a guy she just met. Laura notices unexpected changes in John's conduct after arriving at the remote cabin.
