Harriet and Queenie Mahoney, a vaudeville act, travel to Broadway because their friend Eddie Kerns needs them for a number in one of Francis Zanfield's productions. Eddie was in love with Harriet before meeting Queenie, but she is courted by Jock Warriner, a member of New Yorker high society. It takes some time for Queenie to realize she is nothing more than a toy for Jock, and it also takes some time for Harriet to realize Eddie is in love with Queenie.
