"Borrowing" things like thread, safety pins, batteries, and food scraps from the normal-sized Lender family, the four-inch-tall Clock family lives in discreetly in the same house as the normal-sized Lender family. However, their harmonious coexistence is shattered when the nefarious attorney Ocious P. Potter steals the will that grants title to the property, which he intends to raze in order to construct apartments. The Clocks are in danger of being revealed to the regular-sized world as a result of the Lenders being compelled to relocate.
