Tom has amassed a large gambling debt after the tragic loss of his wife. He visits his affluent Aunt Florence in hopes of being remembered in her bequest. Faced with an impatient creditor, Tom and Elodie the undertaker's daughter develop a scheme to loot the rich town's graves. When Tom returns to Florence's house after robbing the tombs, things turn sour. Tom starts hearing and seeing odd things that seem to correlate with the deaths of the robbers.
