She weds a handsome and seductive man, Julien (Sami Frey). Paul (Gérard Jugnot), Barbara's ex-boyfriend, is skeptical of Julien. A large sum of insurance money appears to have been amassed by Julien after the deaths of his first two marriages under suspicious circumstances.
