The Bike Thief
To the Biker his moped is whatever. As a pizza shipment driver it is his income. As a breadline straddling, immigrant papa it is his family members's anchor. It takes his partner to function. It obtains his child to school. So when one night the moped is taken, his globe collapses. He has to return his bike-- or change it-- in whatever way possible, before his following changes starts. If he stops working, he won't simply lose his work, he will lose it all. He tries to ask minority familiar faces for help in this strange, disorienting city. Nonetheless, as he runs out of time and his choices are wearing thin, his ethical compass begins to crack as well as he grows increasingly more ready to abandon his principles in order to conserve himself as well as his family members.
