Junie, a French adolescent, decides to attend a new high school in the wake of the untimely passing of her mother. Despite the fact that Junie spends much of her time inside her own brain, she manages to attract the attention of every single male student due to her beauty and her unflappable demeanor. Junie starts a relationship with the kind Otto Cleves, but she soon realizes that she is deeply attracted to her young Italian language teacher, Nemours. Complications of a grave nature arise as soon as Nemours begins to show some reciprocity.
