The Bandit
Following his escape from prison, the renowned Baran the Bandit embarks on a series of spectacular adventures. It should come as no surprise that the world has altered substantially after 35 years of service. Despite this, Baran is taken aback when he learns that his hometown has been submerged as a result of the construction of a new dam. He then travels to Istanbul in order to exact vengeance on his old closest buddy, the man who had snitched on him and kidnapped his lover, Keje, from him. As they go across the countryside, Baran teams up with Cumali, a tough young punk who thinks the thief's old-fashioned methods are pretty charming. When Cumali finds himself in serious danger with a mafia leader, Baran adds another vindictive mission to his list of responsibilities.
