The Adventure of Denchu-Kozo

Hikari is a boy who gets picked on and teased at school by the other boys because he has an electricity pole growing out of his back. But a girl named Momo, who is also in his class, comes to his aid. Hikari showed her how grateful he was by giving her his secret possession, a time machine. He then turns on the time machine, which takes him 25 years into the future to a dark, dystopian world. There, he meets Shinsengumi Vampire Gang members who are looking for a woman named Dr. Sariba, who turns out to be Momo's future self. She tells Hikari that she had been waiting for him to come back from the past for a long time and that he has a very important job to do here: he alone must save the world.
