The 13th Warrior

When Ahmad ibn Fadlan is forced to flee his homeland, he comes face to face with Vikings. Although ibn Fadlan is initially offended by the Norsemen's actions, the more sophisticated outsider eventually gains respect for the tough, albeit vulgar, warriors. As ibn Fadlan and the Vikings journey together, they learn of an evil presence closing in, and they must battle this terrifying and formidable force, which was previously considered to exist only in mythology.
