Mr. Badii, a middle-aged Tehranian, is planning to commit suicide and is looking for someone to bury him. Driving around the city, the supposedly well-off Badii approaches a number of people, including a Muslim student, and asks them to take the job, but he has little success at first. Badii eventually finds a man who is willing to take on the job because he needs the money, but his new companion tries to talk him out of killing himself.
