Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

Sylvester Stallone plays a tough cop whose mother, played by Estelle Getty, comes to stay with him and gradually gets in his way. She buys him a MAC-10 machine gun, which is against the law, and starts looking into his police cases. At the end of the movie, the title comes into play, and it's shown that even though she seems frail and weak, she can be strong when she needs to be, like when her son is in danger and she shoots herself in the shoulder.
