Stone
Jack Mabry, a parole officer with only a few weeks remaining before retirement, wishes to complete the cases he has been given. An example is the parole-eligible arsonist Gerald 'Stone' Creeson. Jack is first reluctant to engage Stone in the caustic banter he desires and has little compassion for the prisoner's pleadings for an early release. Stone, seeing that he has little chance of persuading Jack personally, arranges for his wife to seduce the officer. However, motives and intentions become increasingly obscured amidst the passions and hidden secrets of the compromised players in this deadly game of deception.
