In spite of his wife Helen's admonishments, salesman Roy Knable spends all of his free time watching television. Roy is persuaded to purchase a satellite dish with 666 channels by TV salesperson Spike one day. In Hellvision, controlled by Spike, an envoy of Satan, Roy and Helen are drawn into the new addition to their home entertainment system via a wormhole. In order to make it back to reality alive, the pair must survive diabolical parodies of popular television shows for a full 24 hours.
