Starred Up
Eric, age 19, is prematurely transported to the same adult jail facility as his estranged father due to his arrogance and extreme violence. Eric is approached by a volunteer psychiatrist who leads an anger management group for convicts as his explosive temper swiftly earns him enemies among prison authorities and fellow inmates, and as his already turbulent relationship with his father reaches breaking point. Eric, torn between gang politics, prison corruption, and a vision of something better, finds himself in a fight for his life, uncertain as to whether his own father will protect him or cooperate in punishing him.
