Space Pirate Captain Harlock: Arcadia of My Youth

The alien Illumidus Empire has conquered Earth after a long and bloody struggle. Harlock, a captain in Earth's fleet, crashes his spacecraft in order to prevent the Illumidus from utilizing it, and he flatly refuses to join them.
