Hae-gap is a filmmaker known for his anti-government documentaries. Hae-son, gap's Na-ra, runs away one day, but Man-deok, a freeloader who lives in Hae-house, gap's eventually returns him. Later on, Man-deok raids the head developer of Deul Island to put a halt to the island's exploitation, and Na-ra assists but is apprehended. Hae-gap issues a cease-and-desist order and relocates to Deul Island with his family in order to secure Na-release ra's from prison. Na-ra begins to open up as he sees his father living a peaceful life there. However, when a construction corporation arrives on the island with the intent of clearing it out and putting the islanders' houses at risk, Hae-gap leads a strike against it, putting his family in severe danger...
