Mara is an introverted and eccentric woman who spends her days making props for movies. Despite this, she has an internal rage that she keeps hidden. In order to prevent herself from being alone, Mara murders and keeps the bodies of her loves as live dolls for as long as she can stand them up. When she is hired by Kat, a newly-minted producer, the two immediately click. As their friendship becomes more heated, Mara's already tenuous grasp on reality begins to deteriorate. She descends into a psychotic state as her dolls begin demanding all of her attention and Kat threatens to break her heart, forcing her to commit another murder.
