It's the early 1990s and Zheng Wei, 18, is about to embark on her first year of university, full of hope for romance. Roommates become close friends, and they embark on their college careers together as one. It was an accidental encounter that brought Chen Hao-Zhen and Wei together, and the two became inseparable as a result. Wei has completed four years of study and is eager to start a family with Chen. In any case, Chen is compelled to make the unthinkable decision to depart from Wei. With his life in shambles, Wei makes the decision to start over. Wei's ex-boyfriends Lin and Chen both come back into her life a decade later, forcing her to make a decision on her future.
