Second Chorus
Danny O'Neill and Hank Taylor are both trumpeters in the Perennials, a college band. Both men have failed their exams seven years in a row, but they are both still going to school because they are both good students. On stage, Danny sees Ellen Miller, who ends up being the band manager, and he says hello. Both men are trying to win her heart while trying to get the other one fired.
