Sanctum
Sanctum, a 3-D action-thriller directed by James Cameron, follows a group of underwater cave divers on a perilous expedition to the world's largest, most beautiful, and least accessible cave system. When a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they must battle raging water, treacherous terrain, and creeping panic as they seek an unknown escape route to the sea. Master diver Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh) has spent months exploring the Esa-ala Caves in the South Pacific. When Frank's exit is cut off by a flash flood, his team, which includes 17-year-old son Josh (Rhys Wakefield) and financier Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd), is forced to drastically alter their plans. With supplies running low, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to escape. They are soon confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive, or will they be trapped for the rest of their lives?
