Oscar, a young child, is forced to flee his remote hometown after committing a noble murder, leaving behind his best buddy, Loux. He flees to the neighboring city, where he is recruited by a gang of street-level kid burglars. His innocence begins to erode as he encounters love, murder, and corruption. He has forgotten his history and has become the leader of this band of lost youngsters 15 years later. When Loux relocates to the city in search of work, she gets a position as a private investigator for a faltering firm. After discovering Oscar's missing kid report, she decides to track down the boy who saved her life.
