Sam the Snowman narrates the story of a young red-nosed reindeer who hooks up with Hermey, an elf who wants to be a dentist, and Yukon Cornelius, the prospector, after being kicked out of the reindeer games due of his luminous nose. They encounter the Abominable Snowman and discover an entire island full of misfit toys. On Christmas Eve, Rudoph returns to the North Pole to try if he can persuade Santa to aid the toys. Santa's sleigh, however, is fogged in. When Santa looks over Rudolph, though, he has a brilliant idea...
