Robin and the 7 Hoods
In prohibition-era Chicago, the corrupt sheriff teams up with Guy Gisborne, a south-side racketeer, to assassinate the boss Big Jim. Everyone save Robbo, who commands the north side, gets in line behind Guy. Robbo, while being outgunned, wishes to retain his own area. A pool-playing Indiana resident and the director of a boys' orphanage team up with Robbo; and after donating some money to the orphanage, he becomes the town's toast as a Robin Hood-style hood. Meanwhile, Guy plots Robbo's demise, and Marian, Big Jim's hitherto unknown daughter, enters and goes from man to man seeking an ally in her desire to run the entire show. Is Robbo capable of keeping things together?
