As the Cold War heats up in the USSR in 1951, infamous tyrant Joseph Stalin falls ill and dies. Meanwhile, KGB agent Stoichkov discovers a mystery stage show starring three terrifying dolls-Robert, Kalashnikov, and Miss Cyclops-in the Baltic area. Stoichkov is mesmerized by the lifelike motion demonstrated by the dolls on stage and discovers that the show's host is a German toymaker who owns a magical book that contains the key to perpetual life. Stoichkov kidnaps the Toymaker and takes him to Moscow, believing that the Toymaker and his book would help Stalin avoid execution. They have, however, been followed by the Toymaker's live creations. When Stoichkov and his squad of KGB agents realize the three dolls are on board, all hell breaks out. They will stop at nothing to save their puppet master.
