Due to his inability to make his rent payments on time, struggling actor Wayne Wenders is forced to hunt for alternative sources of income. He eventually interviews for a position teaching Shakespeare at his local high school. Wayne soon discovers that he enjoys his job—as well as his affection for Amy, a fellow English instructor. Final decision: whether his dreams of becoming a celebrity are indeed worth giving up everything for.
